Looking back at this early work philosophical thoughts are seen in the mind of the author even at that early age. The forward by Punnayurkulam .V.Bappu points out the creativity of the poet .

Bhagavad Gita for 20th century was written in 92-93 though the work for it started at a very early age, in childhood. Gita , though considered as areligious text , is not a religious text, but one which tells all human beings how to conduct our worldly life with efficiency and happiness. It actually says , Ahimsa is the highest dharma, though  uttered in a battlefield. Mandukya upanishad is a very short upanishad. Goudapada  created a Kaarika for it. Sankaracharya did a Bhashya for the Karika.  The experiences of us do not belong to the jagrad(awakened) state alone but also to drea, dreamless and even coma, trance states of existence. Consciousness studies have to encompass all these fields . Thus the upanishad takes us to the field of neurosciences and neurophysical studies of consciousness.

Isavasyam idam sarvam. Everything is God.  There is nothing but God . This is the first vakya of the Upanishad. The greatest Advaitha philosophy  is upholded here. It does not say, There is only one God. But say, whatever is here is God only. One can see God in everything , and therefore live peacefully loving everything. Story of Katha Upanishad is famous. Nachikethas spends three days and days at Yama's world and comes back with wisdom. What I find in this Upanishad is the Near-Death-Experience (NDE)  which is wellknown to modern medical profession, and the Bardo explained by the Budhist  texts. The experience of Nachikethas is a Bardo, a NDE and for modern world this spiritual text is very important. Aithareya upanishad , explores into the origins of the universe and finds out a scientific answer.

Quest for Infinity is quest for God. Philosophers, mathematicians, theists and atheists search for it .And come up with contrasting and controversial answers. Whether one get answers or not, whether the answers are different or same, -The quest itself is enlightening. The bliss of search by generations of human races still continue.

Modern world needs Sankara's advaitha philosophy . From two aspects . 1 The sociological aspect of oneness of all creation 2. The scientific aspect from point of view of modern astrophysics Both these are seen in Sankara's philosophy. It is not just a intellectual exercise but a way of life that is seen in his philosophy of Advaitha.
